产品介绍This gene is a member of the M-phase phosphoprotein (MPP) family. The gene encodes a phosphoprotein with a J domain and a Myb DNA-binding domain which localizes to both the nucleus and the cytosol. The protein is capable of forming a heterodimeric complex that associates with ribosomes, acting as a molecular chaperone for nascent polypeptide chains as they exit the ribosome. This protein was identified as a leukemia-associated antigen and expression of the gene is upregulated in leukemic blasts. Also, chromosomal aberrations involving this gene are associated with primary head and neck squamous cell tumors. This gene has a pseudogene on chromosome 6. Alternatively spliced variants which encode different protein isoforms have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

如何选择抗体应用实验

首先根据自己要做的实验来筛选，有的抗体能应用很多实验，有的抗体则只能用于某一两个实验。

常见实验简写：IHC-P免疫组化石蜡切片、IHC-F免疫组化冰冻切片、mIHC多色荧光免疫组化、IF免疫荧光、ICC免疫细胞化学、WB(WesternBlot）蛋白质印迹试验、Flow Cyt (Intra)流式、IP免疫沉淀、ELISA酶联免疫吸附试验。

标记方式（偶联物）

偶联物从最终的图像采集来分可分为白光和荧光；

常见白光偶联物有：Biotin生物素、HRP辣根过氧化物酶、AKP碱性磷酸酶。

常见荧光偶联物有：Fitc、Cy3、Cy5、AF488、AF555、AF647；

注意现在常用的偶联物是偶联在二抗上的，但是一抗的选择决定了能不能用于某种偶联物的

应用种属

接着根据你的实验样本来选择一抗，通常一抗的适用种属都有三种Mouse、Rat、Human，但有的适用于其中一种或两种，看清楚了，这将决定你的实验的成败。

来源种属

通常一抗的来源种属有Rabbit和Mouse，二抗的来源种属有山羊和驴。

这里要注意的是避免种属间的交叉反应造成的假阳性，比如样本是小鼠的，一抗尽量用兔抗，不要用鼠抗，不然山羊抗小鼠二抗有可能会和样本中的某些蛋白发生非特异性反应，进而造成假阳性。

克隆号、表位

筛选到这里已经能排除掉很大一部分抗体了，如果不是有特殊的需求，到这里就可以从筛结果里随意的选择了。
